Harbourmaster can be contacted by V.H.F. on Channels 16 or 14.

Tidal Information


13 feet (4 metres) tidal range at springs.
At MLWS the minimum depth in the channel is 5feet (1.8 metres).
At MLWN the minimum depth in the channel is 8 feet (2.8 metres)
 
The visitor berths in the inner basin have from 5 to 6 feet (1.5 to 1.85 metres) depth at MLWS, check with Harbourmaster for deepest berth available.

MLWS depth on pontoon in outer basin is 7 feet (2.2 metres)
When the water is at the bottom of the marker board on the drying hard beside the gatehouse there is a minimum of 6feet (1.8 metres) in the channel.

Boat Storage is available in a secure floodlit compound with power & water. For details of charges contact harbourmaster.

Whitehills Harbour Commissioners have purchased a specialist boat trailer in order to move boats to and from the harbour and storage area. This trailer can be used to provide safe and hassle free movement of many different types of boat.
